We got to home in Oct for a little reunion with Cindy and John brother and sister (missed you Rod and Katie's fam) It was a lot of fun to be up in the mountains enjoying the fishing, scenery and the cabin. It is always so fun to get to spend so much time together. Thank you mama Cindy for an awesome trip! We also got to meet a couple new nieces. It was so fun to get to see those cute little babies. We had a good time at the Ranch and loved seeing everyone. Miss you all already!

Alice has been wanting to play soccer for a while so I finally signed her up. She really likes it and is actually pretty good. Ella Started swim lessons in July and LOVES it. She smiles all through class and has no problem jumping off the diving board.

For Ella's birthday we went to the zoo. The girls loved seeing all the animals, getting their face painted and riding the carousel. After the zoo we headed to the beach for a picnic dinner with John's dad, Cynthia, and Carly. It was such a fun day. Just a few things about Ella right now are; she loves to cuddle, her binki, is talking quite a bit, weighs 23 lbs, wants to do things "myself", ask's to go potty, but never really goes, and wants to do anything her big sister does. She is such a fun happy little stink and we love her!

Our trip home this summer was so much fun. We managed to squeeze a ton of fun into a short amount of time. Little Mermaid was awesome! It was so fun to watch Alice watch the play. She was so into it. She fell asleep towards the end because it was so late. Uncle Ryan was nice enough to carry her to the car for me. Thank you grandma Cindy for such a fun time. The reunion was a blast. It's something I look forward to every year and am always sad when it's over. Both Alice and Ella placed 3rd in the races. We ate tons of water melon, stayed up late dancing and making smore's, enjoyed the play ground and going to sleep and waking up next to our cousins. We spent the 4th with John's family. We went to the park and enjoyed the festivities. Then we went to the sun bowl to watch the fireworks. It was our first time watching from the sun bowl and was so much fun. We had such a fun trip and can't wait until next time!

We had a good spring with some fun activities. The girls loved fishing even though we haven't had much luck so far. The baseball games are always so much fun. I love the whole atmosphere. Good music, good food, good fun! And camping. I can never get enough. We went to the church property and camped on grass for the very first time. A little different than we're used to. It was so beautiful and so fun. Melanie taught me her way of making smores. Instead of using chocolate, you use a reeses peanut butter cup. Never going back. Sooo good. Many more post to come.

For our anniversary this year we went to Victoria Canada. It was so beautiful and a fun adventure. We got to go for two nights. The first night we stayed in Port Angeles Wa. The next morning we caught the ferry to Victoria. We had such a fun trip and enjoyed spending time together just the two of us. Thank you grandma Cindy for watching the girls!

I am so behind on my blog right now and am having a hard time finding the motivation to do it. I know I will regret it later, so I'm going to try my hardest to do better. Alice had her birthday last month. On the day of her birthday we had grandpa Dan and his family over for cake and ice cream. Then on Saturday we had her party. On the way to the party (since her birthday was Tue. and party on Sat.) she said "mom am I going to be 5?" So cute. The theme was Tangled and it was a gymnastics party. Right now LOVES any thing princess (especially Tangled), her gymnastics and swimming classes, her barbies, taking baths and talking to anyone and everyone who will listen! She is so friendly and loves everyone. She is such a fun girl! We love you sweet Alice.

Decorating our ginger bread house is one of my favorite holiday traditions. It is so fun to watch my girls excitement of building a house out of frosting and candy! I love baking during Christmas. It reminds me of home and makes it feel like the holidays. Alice always loves to help, so we made these cute reindeer cupcakes. Happy holidays!!

Last week I received a phone call from my sister Rachel telling me dad had taken a spill off his horse and was being life flighted to Las Vegas. I immediately dropped to my knees and said a prayer. He had two brain contusions as well as bleeding and six broken ribs. Luckily after a couple nights in ICU he was healing up nicely and was moved to a regular hospital room. The bleeding on his brain stopped and he was given the ok to go home. He is still VERY sore and has a lot of healing to do, but he is tough. We are so grateful and feel blessed that he is ok. When I told Alice about the accident, she asked me if papa's horse was in trouble. This weekend was also our mother daughter trip to Las Vegas. We decided to go ahead and still have our trip. We even got to steal mom away on the first night for dinner. We had a lot of fun visiting and Christmas shopping. Can't wait till next year!

Rachel and Richards family came to stay with us for thanksgiving. They got here late Wednesday night. On Thanksgiving we woke up to it snowing outside which really made it feel like the holidays. Then we got busy making rolls, pie, and our family's traditions chicken noodle gravy and pomegranate salad. We all went over to John's dad's to eat our thanksgiving feast. Later that day we went to see the new Disney movie Tangled. It was so cute. Alice has already asked to go see it again (with Kaden of course). That night some stores opened for black Friday. Rachel and I were so excited to get some deals that we headed out at 9:30. We picked Melanie up at about 12:30 and didn't get home until 4:00 am. We had such a blast and scored some good deals. We did a lot of shopping, playing in the snow, and saying up late. The last night they were here we went bowling. Kaden and Alice looked so cute in their little bowling shoes and I must say, having the bumpers up sure improved my score! Their trip went by way to fast, but I am so thankful for the time we had. I have so much to be thankful for and am glad there is a holiday remind me how blessed I am.

John turned 29 this month. We celebrated by having dinner at Red robin and blizzards at DQ. Then we left the kids with a sitter and hit the movies. I can't believe in a year we'll be out of our twenties...30 used to seem so old!

For Halloween Alice choose to be her favorite princess sleeping beauty and Ella was a bumble bee. We went to an awesome corn maze/pumpkin patch the weekend before and let the girls choose a pumpkin. There was so much stuff to do. We did the hay ride to the corn maze and then the pumpkin patch. For Halloween we went to our wards trunk or treat. It was actually 4 wards together. There were tons of people and tons of candy. Ella even got the hang of it and started holding out her hand for candy. Cute little stinkers.

The Washington Rec

I know there are a million pictures. I have been putting off this post for a while because I had so many it was over whelming. So believe it or not, this is just a few. John's mom planned a family reunion with her, her kids and grandkids at a Zion resort so we made a trip out of it. We started off staying at the ranch. We went four wheeling with Rachel and Richards family, ate popsicles, picked melons, went shopping, and had a good visit. Then we headed to Zion's for the weekend. It was SO beautiful and the resort had so many things to do. We had ranger rides, horse back rides, rode the zip line, roasted marshmallows for s'mores, soaked in the hot tub, played at the park and the list goes on. It was such a blast. The cabin was huge and had two rooms full of bunk beds. Alice loved playing and falling a sleep on the top bunk with all her girl cousins. It was so fun eating every meal together and having late night talks. John even squeezed in a trip to the temple with his mom. On Tuesday we went to the washington rec center with the Schaefermeyer family to swim and had a blast! It was so good to see everyone. We had such a fun trip and cant wait till next time! Love you all.

John's last show was the Puyallup fair. It was 17 long days & our little fam ended up going 4 times. Now about every other day Alice will say "I want to go to the fair". She loved the rides. Her favorite was a pink car that followed a track and coming in a close second was the giant slide you ride down on a gunny sack. They have something at this fair I have never had before. It's called an elephants ear. It's a big thin piece of fried dough covered in butter and then sprinkled with Cinnamon and sugar. Yum. Ella loved the animals. Especially the petting zoo. She would get so excited and squeal, but didn't really want to touch any of them. We had a blast! So thanks to Dan and his family and also Bo and Melanie (who cleaned up Alice's puke the first time..I am forever in your debt! And the second time we came out after the fair to a dead battery. Luckily John was not pitching and came to our rescue.) For hauling me and the kiddo's! Good times.

My mom came to visit and stayed for about five days. We were in heaven the whole time. Being away from my mom ( as well as John's mom) and sisters has been the hardest part about living here, so having her visit was so much fun. We did a lot of fun things: went to the zoo, the beach, site seeing, and even had time for a pedicure. Alice HAD to have granny sleep in her bed and she slept on the floor beside her. She loved having her here and getting the one on one attention. She cried when we dropped her off at the airport. So sad and so cute. I love you so much mom. I am so grateful for the time I got to spend with you.

We went to the zoo a couple weeks ago. We lucked out because almost every animal was out where we could see them. We passed a face painting booth and Alice had to have her's painted. She was so cute how she held so still. I tried to talk her into a pretty butterfly, but she had her heart set on being a pink cheetah. She is the cutest cheetah I've ever seen. She practically ran the rest of the time we were there because cheetah's are fast! It was such a fun day and we will defiantly be visiting the zoo again. (ok we already have when my mom came to visit. I'm a little behind on posting so those picture's are coming soon.)

Ella turned 10 months old on the 17th. She has discovered that she can climb, so that its what she does. She LOVES climbing the stairs, getting up on Alice's stool, and chair. She is still really petite. She weights 16 lbs and wears 3-6 month clothes. She is so happy all the time. Some of the things she loves are, to explore, bananas, her big sister, and when dad gets home from work. She stands on her own with out realizing it, and loves to hold on to my finger and walk around. I love this little squisher!

My brother-in-law Richard had never been to Disneyland. So with the give a day, get a day promo going on we decided to go. It was SO much fun and WAY to short. We started off the first day with a little rain. John and I thought it would be unfair to keep all the rain to ourselves, so we brought it with us to Cali. No it really only rained for the first half hour or so. Then it was a beautiful day. It was nice because it wasn't to busy. The next day was awesome weather and we went to California adventure. The lines were short and we had a great day. We got to see Johns fam for a couple hours and stay the night with my mom before flying home. It was so good to see everyone. I love and miss you all! Oh and the one downer we had was on the last day my purse/diaper bag got stolen. Sad. A little extra security to go through at the airport but wasn't to bad. We made it home and I am now counting down the weeks till I see you all again!!

Easter in Washington

Gods sacrifice means so much more during the Easter season now that I have kids. I am truly grateful for Heavenly Father and for the gift of the atonement. I am grateful for my beautiful children who make life so special. We had a nice Easter. Alice loved dying the eggs and of course the Easter egg hunt. We made breakfast and enjoyed listening to conference. It is different here than in Utah. Its not broadcast on TV so we had to download it on the Internet. That about sums it up for our first Easter in Washington.

Ella had 3 teeth break through in eight days. Poor little thing. She has been such a trooper. She has been doing a bum twist thing to get where she wants to go for a while, but this week she started to really crawl. And that means making messes. She is also pulling herself up on everything. My little Alice turned three yesterday. Wow how fast time fly's. She thinks she is so big. She say's some of the cutest things like "oh my goodness" and "thank you so much." She loves Ella and trying to take care of her. She is really into princesses. We watched our wedding video on our anniversary the other night with Alice. She was so cute. She thought that John was a prince, I was a princess and we got married in a castle. She say's when she grows up she wants to get married in a castle too. She loves pretend play, doing anything outside and helping mom make cookies. She is so full of energy and keeps me going. She has forever changes our life's and we love her!

John and I decided to go to Vancouver for the day. We just wanted to get as close to the Olympics as possible. Go USA! It was awesome! It was fun just to be there. They had streets blocked off with bands playing, hot dog stands and other activities. We found this cute little cupcake shop and had to try them out. I got a maple one, John a red velvet and Alice a diva. They were delicious! It was way worth it and a great first trip to Canada!

Cindy was still at our house for New Years. We had pizza, watched a movie and started the New Year with grape cider.

We found cheap air plane tickets, so the next day we flew home! Kaden
and Alice were so cute. They held hands and talked in the back of the van

all the way to granny's house.

My sisters and I were lucky enough to get a girls night. The guys watched

the kids and we went to a movie.

We had dinner at Rod and Katie's with all the Stuart's.

food now, but I've yet to find something she likes. She thinks her big sister

This year we had John's mom "grandma Cindy" at our house for Christmas. Alice knew Santa was coming which made it so much fun. She is still kind of scared of him though, so she wanted to make sure he wasn't staying. She also loved the story she calls Mary and the donkey and has asked John to tell her for a bed time story. We had a great Christmas and having Cindy here with us made our holiday!

Today has just been one of those days. It has been pretty nice outside lately so I let Alice play in the back yard. Well without me knowing she brought in a bucket full of mud and pine cones. Then she decided to try and wash it down the sink and flush it down the toilet. Long story short I had mud, pine cones and water ALL over my bathroom. As I was cleaning that huge mess up ( thank heavens it was in the bathroom ) Alice went into the kitchen and dumped the salt All over the floor. Fun right? It doesn't end there. About an hour later I sat down to feed Ella. When I was finished I headed up stairs to find Alice with a tube of toothpaste squeezed out all over my carpet. That is not fun to clean up. To end the day she sat on the couch and colored on her BRAND NEW pajamas with a pen! Can I just say I am SO happy the little turkey is asleep!!

I read a book called potty train your child in one day. The idea is to give your child a new doll and have them help you potty train it. Then half way through the day its their turn. And let me tell you it works. We had the party and Alice has had only one accident in 3 days. I am one proud mama. So if your trying to potty train give it a try.

We are starting to get settled in our little house I love having my husband home every night! We have a cute little neighborhood and an awesome ward. So far , so good.

Halloween in Seattle

A few months ago John and I were presented with the opportunity to move to Washington. If we decided to accept, John's work would all be with in an hour drive of our home. This would mean he could be home EVERY night. It didn't take long for us to decide. We knew that even though it would be SO hard to move away from our family's it would be worth it to be together all the time.
So tomorrow we move into our cute little house. I am so excited. It is so beautiful here. I will post some pictures soon. Halloween was fun. We went to our wards trunk or treat. The church is like a mile from our house and the members seemed very nice. What an adventure!

John has been working a lot lately and I've never been a person who likes being home alone. Thank heavens I have the best mom and mother-in-law a girl could ask for. When I'm not staying at my mom's Cindy comes to my rescue with what ever I need whether its letting me run an errand or taking Alice so I can have a break. Alice loves her "granny" (my mom) and "cinny" (Johns mom). I am SOO lucky to have the best mom's ever!

2 weeks old

Its been an adventure adding another member to our family. Alice loves being a big sister. She always wants to help me with everything. " I burp her mom...I hold her... I feed her with my bottles." She's quite the helper. Ella has been a good baby. She likes her car seat and takes naps in the day. Actually she still kinda has her nights and days mixed up, but is getting better. And can you believe how much she looks like John?

We had Ella on Friday the 17th of July. She was 6lbs 15oz 19.5 inches long. I forgot what it is like to have a new baby. I can't believe how much you can instantly love this little person you just barely met. She is a really good baby. We are so happy she is finally here. Thanks so much to everyone who helped take care of Alice and all the yummy meals!

Every 4th of July we have the big Bundy reunion out on the Arizona strip. It is always such a blast and since I still have a little time before the baby I decided to go. Like always it was great. Alice had so much fun. She loved the 4-wheeler rides, playing with cousins and of course all the dirt. As for me I am dilated to a 2 and 70% thinned. Its getting closer and I'm so excited to meet the next little member of our family. I will keep you all posted. Hope everyone had a great holiday.

We are staying at the ranch for a couple days while John is out of town. Alice LOVES being here with all the animals and exploring. This is her first time riding a horse and she thought it was great. And you can tell by her face she loved the watermelon which sure put a smile on grandpa's face.

Birthday party's, baby blessings, a baptism, Memorial day...its already getting crazy and I love it. I am excited for the hot weather with swimming and bbq's, family reunions and CAMPING!! Not to mention in eight weeks my baby will be here =) I'm sure in eight more weeks I'll probably be wishing for winter. For Memorial day we went to Sand hallow with John's family. We had dutch oven for lunch and hung out on the beach. The summer fun has started....

John and I are having a hard time comming up with a name for our next little girl. Alice was easy because I always wanted to name a little girl that. It is my grandmas name and John loved it. No matter how hard I try Alice has decided she'd rather continue whatever she is doing than look at the camera. I hope she grows out of that soon! We had the opportunity to stay with Ammon and Lisa for a week while John was working in phoenix. It was so fun to get to spend time with them. We got home from Phoenix late Saturday night so we hunted for eggs after church. It was fun to watch her look for "egg" as she calls them. Then she thought she could eat the eggs right after they came out of the dye. Hey they look good to me =).

This was in an ant tunnel at California adventure waiting to watch a 3D show about a bugs life. Alice thought it was scary and told me she was all done half way through.

We went on a MUCH needed family trip to Cali. It was so much fun. We went with some good friends Shawn, Hayley & Jack. The first day we went to Disneyland. We saw Mickey right off the bat, had yummy treats and rode fun rides. Then the next day we went to California adventure which she liked even more. I think the parade was her favorite part. She got to see Nemo, Bugs life and Monsters inc. We all had a blast. It really is one of the happiest places on earth. =)

Happy 2nd birthday Alice! I can't believe how fast time fly's. It just seems like yesterday I brought her home from the hospital. Crazy. We just had a small get together at our house to celebrate. She was most excited for her cake. She also got a trike for her birthday which she loves, but it didn't come till the day after. Gotta love shipping. So I'll have to post some more pictures. Danny and Nat gave her this little tinker bell dress-up outfit and she had to put it on right away. She is so girly and yet kinda crazy. I love this little girl!

Last week was our 4 year anniversary. I can't believe it's already been four years and yet I can't imagine my life any different. My wonderful mother-in-law lives in Las Vegas so we thought that was the perfect place to go so she could keep Alice over night. It was the first time I have ever left her over night and she did great. Thank you grandma Cindy!! We went to the Melting Pot for dinner (a fondue restaurant) and they just happened to be doing a magic show that night. It was so fun. We stayed at the Trump hotel and they up graded us to a $500 suite for free. Talk about luck.This is the view from our room. We had a blast. I look forward to the years to come. I love you baby!

We are having another little girl. We are so excited.I love having sisters close to my age so I am so happy Alice is getting a sister. This is me at 18 weeks. I thought I was big for only being this far along, but when I went to the Dr. I was measuring right on. I am due July 23rd.

Alice is going to be a big sister! (And a BIG helper I'm sure) We are SO excited to be expecting baby #2. It took us about a year to get pregnant this time. Talk about riding an emotional roller coaster. I am just so grateful to be able to experience being pregnant again. I have felt so good this pregnancy. I can't wait to feel the baby move. Not only to enjoy it, but also so I don't have to freak out every other second wondering if every thing is ok. I just feel so blessed and lucky and know what a miracle sweet little babies are. We stayed at my mom's house for a few days last month and Alice had a ball. Aunt Bailey let her feed oranges to her show steer. Know when ever we have an orange she says moo and looks around for a cow. =) She LOVED the doggy's. It was the first thing she'd say every morning and last thing every night. Rachel and Kaden came down to spend the day and when we went out to check on the kids we found them both sitting in the rabbit cage. I love it. Kids are so cute.

This is the first year that I really had a "trick-or-treater". It was so much fun. Alice loved it. At first she wasn't sure, but as soon as someone put a treat in her basket she was all about it. At one of the houses the nice couple was sitting on the porch with a tray of candy and Alice walked right up, took a piece of candy off the tray and put it in her basket. They got a good laugh out of that. Then we headed to the ranch for a little family party. It was a fun night. ( these picture posted in opposite order. oh well)

Alice is a trick rider. As you can see in the pictures she loves riding Pako standing and with no hands. It surprises me how daring she is. When we go to a park she goes down the slide head first. And she loves jumping off high things. Im a little worried.Thats what I get for marrying Johnny the crazy man Stuart. I can't even count how many bones hes broken.......

Every year on the 4th of July weekend our family goes out to Mount Trumble on the Arizona strip for the Bundy reunion. It is so much fun!! We have races and play horse shoes. There's paint ball games, skeet shooting, 4 wheeler rides, family dinners and dancing. It is nearly impossible to ever see a clean face and I LOVE it! Hope every one had a great independence day.

Ok so I hate this first picture of myself, but since it says where we're at I wanted to use it. We had memorial day off so we took Alice to the rainforest cafe. She loved it it was so much fun. Every 15 min the jungle comes alive. They have a thunderstorm and all the animals go crazy. So if you've never been I recommend trying it out sometime.

John is on a show and I decided I had had enough traveling for a bit so I stayed with my sister Rachel. This is Alice and Kaden having a blast. They have been swimming, 4-wheeling, and doing anything they can get there hands on in the back yard. (including eating dirt!) It has been fun. We even managed to get them on the same schedule. They eat at the same time, nap at the same time, and yes even poop at the same time. Thank you Kaden and aunt Rachel for letting us stay for a week.

Today was so fun. Even though it was Alice's second Easter she was only about a month old last year. Her favorite thing of the whole basket was the grass :) This year Easter meant a lot more to me. Thinking about my my heavenly father and knowing he gave his son for us. For me. I have a greater understanding of truly what a sacrifice that was now that I am a mother and knowing the unconditional love you have for your children. I am so greatful to my father in heaven and my savior Jesus Christ for his atoning sacrifice.

Alice had her first birthday on the 8th. I cant believe I have a one year old. Crazy. The year went by so fast. I feel so blessed to have this little girl in my life. I just love her more every day. She has started this fake laugh thing. We were eating out the other night and the people at the table next to us were laughing so Alice started doing her fake laugh. It was pretty funny. She is so cute my big little one year old. SO Crazy and I'm sure the years will continue to fly by.

vaccines and autism

So tonight I saw on the news that a little girl got autism from getting her vaccines. They said that she was more susceptible to getting it from immunizations than most, but there is no way to know if your child is more susceptible or not. The mother said she was a perfectly healthy child until she got her shots. Of course they had two doctors on there as well who both said that you still need to get your children immunized. They said they are doing more research. They also said the family would be compensated. I am just so scared to get Alice's done.Especially after hearing that they finally said publicly that the vaccines did indeed cause this girls autism. Well push the disease over the edge because she had some disorder that the previous vaccines caused. This was eight years ago and I know they have changed them since then but still. If and when I decide Alice's will have her vaccines I will for sure space them out. The mother also said shes not sure if her daughter getting five shots ( nine vaccines ) at one time had anything to do with it. Jenny McCarthy was talking tonight as well and said she wants there to be test done before the child is vaccinated to see if there susceptible to autism or not. Also that the doctors should spread them out more and there should be more information for the parent. ( she has a son with autism which she believes was caused from his vaccines ) Anyone else have any thoughts?

This is Alice's portable highchair, which I love.

I haven't found one thing Alice wont eat. I am soo lucky because she is not picky at all. Yesterday John and I had lunch at subway and all John had left was some lettus with mustard on it and a banana pepper. So he gave them to Alice and she ate them both no prob. I dont even like mustard that much. She loves all fruits and vegetables. Really I've yet to find anything she doesnt like. I've also learned on this trip how honest children are. We were eating, again, ( that's pretty much the only time I see John during the day ) and this guy walked in with rings ALL over his face. Alice just stood there and stared at him until we were seated. Another time a bum came up and said hi to her and she burst into tears. A little embarrassing . They are so innocent. She is my pride and joy. =)

About a week and a half ago Alice started walking. It is the cutiest thing to see your child walk for the first time. Since then she has become "mommy's little helper". She loves to help me load the dishwasher, follow me right into the bathroom, and pretty much be at my side at all times. She has decided its fun to pick up anything and everything and carry it around the house. Of course its more of a challange if whatever it is bigger than she is. So watch out all ya'all who are wating for your little one to walk, becouse when they do, your life will get a little more fun! =)
